As part of our current teleseminar series, “Your 8 Steps to Total Practice Success”,
we are providing guidance for practitioners on the best way to build their team.
Employee hiring is challenging, and employee training is just the first step,
but employee motivation can really be a struggle,
partly because the science surrounding optimal motivation
has been inconclusive at best.
However, recent studies are showing that successful motivation techniques can differ from job to job.
This ten minute video explains some of this new research.
Enjoy!
The three factors that consistently motivate are AUTONOMY, MASTERY and PURPOSE.
Typically the last of these factors, Purpose,
is the easiest to use to motivate in the office
of a holistic health practitioner.
Once your staff see the patient outcomes you are capable of producing,
their purpose needs can be fulfilled… don’t underestimate how inspiring
your work can be!
But how do you give your employees the autonomy they desire?
Could they add more value to your business with more autonomy?
What opportunities are there for them to master skills in your office?
We will be discussing these topics and more in our 7th module.
If you have questions about how to implement this in your own practice,
please feel free to ask us a question at www.askholisticpracticequestions.com
